TreeHouse Villas is located in the remote northern tip of the island. A small winding road through the national parkland connects the resort to the more populated area centre and southern areas of the island, but the easiest method for reaching the resort is by boat. The resort does offer transfers to and from Phuket and Krabi or for the more travel savvy and adventurous.

Accessible only by boat, the small rustic island getaway of Koh Yao Noi, the “Little Long Island”, is located roughly an hour boat ride away from the popular tourist destinations of Phuket and Krabi. The smaller of the two Koh Yao islands, this ideally retreat is one of the last remain local islands in the region to remain largely unspoiled by mass tourism. The very small community primarily focused on its agriculture and fishing industry, is easy going and welcoming. A nostalgic feeling of what made Phuket so appealing 30 years ago can be experience here. With a large portion of the island dedicated to national parkland, Koh Yao Noi is a perfect retreat for those looking to escape the crowds of Phuket and Krabi.

Beach Front Pool Villa

The luxurious Beachfront Pool Villa features a private 7-meter pool leading directly onto the beach. Taking our signature TreeHouse Villa structure and laying both floors on the same level. With the ocean views of the Krabi coastline, it comes complete with a private dining facility, personal bar, a double swing, day beds, and all decorated in a European ‘shabby chic’ style using up-cycled and recycled materials and a colour palette inspired from the jungle and sea. Phang-Nga bay kayak trip

Canoe through caves and past spectacular rock formations, explore quiet hidden lagoons where you often spot monkeys and other wildlife. Get the 007 feeling while visiting the famous James Bond Island and simply enjoy the scenery of beautiful Phang Nga Bay. Depending on the tide you will first visit James Bond Island for sightseeing and then start the kayak excursion or vice versa. You will enjoy a picnic lunch and swimming on a beautiful beach, canoe around the bay through caves and visit hidden lagoons.

Program:

08:30hrs. Depart from the resort by long-tail boat (or later depending on tide)

14:30hrs. Return back to the resort

The resort provides:

All transfers, tour guide (Thai & English speaking) kayaks, lunch, soft drinks, beach towels and national park fees

Bring along:

Camera, sunscreen and swimming suit

Transfer:

Greeted at the airport by a Paradise KohYao host, guests will be transferred to the speed boat by a private limousine. The waiting speedboat will then immediately leave upon the guests’ arrival. Additional guests may join you on the speedboat ride to the resort.

Note: Fast-track VIP treatment & immigration clearing is on request for additional fee.

Considerations: Guests arriving after 16:00 will need to find overnight accommodation in Phuket or Krabi for the transfer to the resort the following day as we do not operate the boats at night for safety reasons

Operating Hours: The resort will not operate its boats if there is the slightest safety concern or in case of strong winds or uncertain sea conditions. The resort can arrange for accommodation with a hotel of similar standards in Phuket/Krabi if transfer cancellation occurs
