Suphan Buri is an ancient town rich in natural and historical heritage, away from Bangkok around 110 Km. The ciy itself dates back to the 9th century and the province was once an important border town during the period of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. There are many historical sites and wide variety of natural attractions including mountains, bird parks, fish sanctuaries, and more.

The interesting site is U Thong district, the ancient place in Dvaravati period that was back more than 1,000 years. The attractions at U Thong are U Thong National Museum, Buddha footprint on the mountain at Wat Khao Phra and the largest Buddha statue craved from a cliff.

Itinerary

07:30   Guide will meet and greet at meeting point

08:00   Depart Bangkok for U Thong Suphan Buri

10:00  Visit the community museum to learn about Tai Phuan life, then go up to the pavilion to visit the Buddha's footprint at the top of Khao Phra mountain. Visit Luang Por Sang Sri Sanphet, a Buddha image from the Dvaravati period in a mountainside cave. 

12:00   Travel to Ban Tamlueng Wan, where a cozy atmosphere and friendly-style coffee shop await. Relax in a comfortable corner and enjoy a flavorful Thai lunch with the signature ‘Kradong Set’ a lunch set in threshing basket.

13:30  Visit U Thong National Museum. It is a modern multimedia presentation telling the story of art in the Dvaravati period which as collected ancient objects, items used and ornaments that were discovered in the area of U Thong city and on the mountain.

15:00   Take a break at Little Hut Café, a cozy spot to refresh with coffee, drinks, and sweets. Capture your moments with plenty of beautiful corners both inside and outside the café.

16:00   Visit Phra Pusaya Khiri Sri Suvarnabhumi, also known as Luang Por U Thong, the largest Buddha image carved into a cliff in Thailand, standing an impressive 108 meters tall. The surrounding cliffs are adorned with intricate Buddhist carvings. Explore the vast grounds in comfort with a golf cart ride while enjoying the breathtaking scenery.

17:15   Travel back to Bangkok

19:30   Drop off at meeting point
