Chachoengsao is an old town by the Bang Pakong River popularly known as "Pad Riew", bordering Bangkok. Travelling to Chachoengsao province does not take long. Currently, in Chachoengsao province, there are many great religious buildings built together that attract new tourist over the year.  

For this tour, you will explore Chachoengsao in one day. Start at local temple to pay homage and ask for blessings. Ride an ancient wooden boat to see the way of life on both sides of the Bang Pakong River - see another view of Sothorn temple, the famous temple of Chachoengsao province from the boat. Stop by Ban Mai ancient market, the over 100 years old to taste and shop for delicious variety of foods and souvenirs. See the beautiful multi cultural architecture at Phrong Akat temple and walking to take the evening sea breeze from the Gulf of Thailand on the Sea Walk at Hong Thong temple.

Itinerary

7:00  Guide will meet  and greet you at meeting point in Bangkok

7:30  Travel to the community at Chachoengsao province

9:00  Arrive at Wat Tha It, pay homage and ask for blessings at the community temple.

10:00  Cruise on a traditional wooden boat to see the way of life on both sides of the Bang Pakong River. See the beauty of Sothron temple in another view from the boat and listen to a story about the tradition and culture of Chachoengsao Province.

12:00  Stop by Ban Mai Market, an old market that is over 100 years old. The market is classic atmosphere with old shophouses. Inside the market there are various shops, cafes, snacks, foods and antique shops. You can walk around, shop, and taste a variety of delicious foods.

14:00  Stop by Prong Akat temple, located in the middle of a rice field. It is a prominent temple with a golden temple hall and a great chedi with a height of 96 meters. It is a combination of Thai, Indian and Sri Lankan architecture.

16:00  Stop by Hong Thong temple, is a temple in the middle of the sea in the Gulf of Thailand.  The highlight of this temple is the golden chedi contained the relics, there is a balcony where you can walk out to see the view of the Gulf of Thailand and mangrove forests outside, or walk on "Sea Walk" the first clear glass bridge to walk into the sea in Thailand. 

17:00  Travel back to Bangkok.

19:00  Arrive at Bangkok and drop you off
