China Town or Yaowarat is a biggest Chinese community in Thailand. This community preserves way of life, culture and tradition like in the old day. Starting from Royal Gubilee Gate, next to Wat Tri Mitr or Gold Buddha Temple, walking to Ta Lak Kia Chinese market to visit Christian Church in Gothic style, the first Thai Commercial Bank in European Architecture, Chinese shrines, traditional Chinese house, an old car under the Bhoti tree where is a shooting location in many films. Along the way, there are many Graffiti art on the wall, Xiang Gong or piles of used Japanese automobile parts. Making a stop at the one and only house making the hand-made traditional round pillows for Chinese shrine. Taking a break and have a cold drink at council café that was found since 1927. It is a café where Chinese gather to talk and discuss in trading, political and social issues. Walking along narrow lanes to see various commodities selling in bulk, or retail price. You will pass a market with many fresh food, herbal tea, herbs and preserved food before crossing a main street to another old market area, visit a unique Chinese community sell products to offer to ancestor and local museum. After trip, you can enjoy lunch at China Town or going back to your hotel by MRT.
