Day 1

• Visit Pai Memorial Bridge - The bridge was built during World War II by the Japanese army to transport equipment from Thailand to Myanma. It was originally a wooden bridge but was destroyed by tide.  Pai District therefore made a request for the former Nawarat Iron Bridge of Chiang Mai Province, which at that time was no longer in use to replace the wooden bridge. Nawarat Bridge from Chiang Mai Province was gradually transported to be reassembled at Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province and becomes the historical bridge of Pai today.

The beginning of the settlement was led by "Mr. Jabo Prainetitham," a tribal leader who immigrated from Ban Huai Yao to build a new life in the present area. • Visit Tham Lod Cave - It is an important archaeological site under the care of the Pai River Basin Wildlife Sanctuary.
