Everything you need to know about Racha Island

The Racha Islands, also called Raya Islands, are best known as excellent diving and snorkelling daytrip destinations. They are located 12 km south of Phuket and consist of two islands, Koh Racha Yai and Koh Racha Noi.

Racha Yai reveals itself in splendid fashion after a 30- to 45-minute boat trip from Phuket. With most of the accommodation on a strip along Siam Bay, it has a peaceful atmosphere with several excellent snorkeling and diving spots.

The water is clear and the beaches are white with powdery sand. The most popular bay, Ao Tawan Tok (also known as Patok Bay), is a U-shaped bay with gleaming white sand and emerald water, perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Racha Noi is the smaller island and has no services or accommodation, but it is a favorite among experienced divers due to its deeper waters and stronger currents, as well as the presence of large marine life in the area.

CORAL ISLAND

Everything you need to know about Coral Island

Known as Hey Island in Thai, Coral Island is a beautiful getaway destination located just nine kilometers southeast of Phuket. It is highly accessible and perfect for a day of fun and relaxation in the sun.

Coral Island boasts pristine white sand beaches lined with coconut trees, and some great snorkeling spots just offshore teeming with colorful tropical fish and coral reefs. The island offers two main beaches – Long Beach and Banana Beach – with plenty of deck chairs, parasols, and restaurants.

Long Beach is the most popular beach, while Banana Beach is more peaceful and private. Coral Island is also known for its wide range of water sports, from parasailing and banana boat rides to diving and sea walking.

The island truly lives up to its name, offering an abundance of coral reefs and marine life.

08:45 A.M. Welcome to Nonthasak private pier. Check-in and receive briefing tour information.
09:00 A.M. Depart from Nonthasak Marine private pier and head to Coral Island.
09:15 A.M. Arrive at Coral Island. Relax on the beach, enjoy swimming and snorkeling among the colorful coral reefs.
12:00 A.M. Enjoy your lunch at Coral Island (Thai buffet).
13:00 A.M. Leave from Coral Island and proceed to Racha Island.
13:40 A.M. Arrive at Racha Island. Relax on the beach, swimming, snorkeling, and sightseeing colorful coral reefs.
15:30 A.M. Leave from Racha Island and head back to Nonthasak Marine private pier.
16:00 A.M. Arrive at Nonthasak Marine private pier. Transfer back to your hotel safely.
